About the role
- Junior Platform Engineering Consultant at Liquid Reply supporting Kubernetes architecture and design implementations in a hybrid role. Collaborating on CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native transitions.
Responsibilities
- Support for the architecture, design and implementation of Kubernetes environments
- Conducting migrations from/to containerized environments
- Designing highly available multi-cloud container orchestration environments
- Implementing and automating CI/CD pipelines
- Automated provisioning of environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Assisting with system and container hardening
- Creating relevant content for customers and prospects
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree in (business) computer science, (business) mathematics, physics or a related field
- Experience with Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD/CKS certification is a plus)
- Knowledge of distributed systems, storage, backup & recovery, scaling and performance optimization
- Understanding of agile methodologies and the DevOps philosophy; experience automating CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Familiarity with concepts, tools or frameworks such as OpenShift, Mesos, Nomad, microservices, cloud-native architectures, and Self-Contained Systems
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
