About the role
- SAP MDG Global Implementation Lead managing implementation of master data governance for Liebherr Group. Coordinate stakeholders and ensure delivery quality in a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
- Lead the global implementation of SAP MDG as the central master data hub
- Manage, coordinate, and govern multiple internal and external stakeholders, including global business units, IT teams, and the external SAP MDG implementation partner
- Sole point of responsibility for the external implementation partner; ensure delivery quality, scope compliance, and milestone achievement
- Design and govern global master data processes, data models, and approval workflows
- Define and enforce global governance frameworks, standards, and decision-making structures
- Manage the integration of SAP MDG with SAP and non‑SAP systems in a heterogeneous landscape
- Oversee planning and execution of global rollouts across regions
- Define and provide a scalable 24x7 operations and support concept for SAP MDG, including roles, responsibilities, and handover models
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG, preferably in global or large-scale implementation programs
- Deep knowledge of master data governance models, operating models, and process ownership
- Proven experience managing external implementation partners and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders in complex programs
- Solid experience managing international rollout projects across regions and cultures
- Strong understanding of SAP ERP environments and system integration concepts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Structured, assertive, and results-oriented working style with a governance mindset
- Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
