About the role

  • Apprentice Engineer in Maintenance & Reliability contributing to standardizing component exchange times in mining. Supporting LCC models and preventive maintenance plans.

Responsibilities

  • Model standard maintenance times
  • Identify combinations of maintenance tasks and their impact on standard times
  • Collect and centralize missing data from plant teams and international subsidiaries
  • Build a database of standard hours for component exchanges
  • Model standard maintenance costs in terms of labor
  • Integrate the model into Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analyses and preventive maintenance plans
  • Define specifications for a tool to justify maintenance plans and their costs to customers

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering program specializing in industrial maintenance
  • Strong interest in maintenance and industrial production
  • Interest in equipment management, cost analysis, statistics, and data modeling
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Affinity for technical subjects, particularly mechanical engineering
  • Minimum B2 level in English; comfortable in an international environment
