About the role
- Transmission Line Engineer designing overhead and underground systems for power grid. Leading projects to increase capacity, integrate renewable energy, and harden the grid.
Responsibilities
- Engineer overhead and underground systems using PLS-CADD
- Move projects from conceptual routing and engineering analysis to material procurement and construction-ready packages
- Apply advanced modeling (PLS-TOWER, LPILE, FAD) to solve site-specific challenges
- Mentor junior engineers and manage client interfaces (Senior/Lead roles)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 2+ years of experience (Mid-Level) or 4+ years (Senior-Level) or 8+ years (Lead-Level)
- Expert-level knowledge of PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE
- Working knowledge of NESC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE codes
- PE preferred for Senior/Lead levels
