- Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer working on SCOM in large-scale enterprise environments across Australia, enhancing monitoring solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Join a dynamic team supporting and maintaining a large-scale enterprise environment
- Design, implement, test, and maintain Microsoft SCOM and its associated infrastructure
- Install, configure, maintain, patch, and upgrade Microsoft SCOM infrastructure
- Design and implement custom monitoring rules, dashboards, and reports
- Investigate and resolve SCOM-related issues, perform root cause analysis
- Enhance monitoring through PowerShell scripting and integrate SCOM with other tools
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure configurations meet security and compliance standards
Requirements
- Proven ability to administer and support SCOM in medium to large-scale environments
- Proficiency in scripting for automation and custom monitoring solutions
- Understanding of server, application, and infrastructure performance metrics
- Experience managing SCOM management packs and developing custom monitoring solutions
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively
