About the role
- Quality Resident Engineer at Lear Corporation overseeing quality assurance processes in automotive manufacturing. Engaging with customers to resolve quality issues and generate performance reports.
Responsibilities
- Direct contact with the customer.
- Quickly and effectively report any issues found with the customer.
- Coordinate with the plant’s Quality Engineer on corrective actions and follow-up.
- Monitor the status of customer-reported concerns until their closure is ensured.
- Verify customer systems to ensure all reported issues have been addressed.
- Coordinate defect analysis and customer response meetings in collaboration with the Plant Quality Engineer.
- Generate quality performance reports based on customer metrics and scorecards.
- Follow up on activities related to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and internal & external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or any related area.
- 2+ Years of experience in automotive industries (wire harness experience)
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Power Point, word, etc,.)
- Intermediate English level.
