About the role
- Senior Engineer overseeing production and monitoring processes in chemical manufacturing. Coordinating maintenance, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance within operational parameters.
Responsibilities
- Execute production as per production plan and monitor process parameters for unit operation and processes
- Maintain batch records and logbooks
- Coordinate with maintenance for breakdown handling
- Supervise unloading of raw materials, control intermediate and finished product transfers
- Adhere Permit-to-Work (PTW) system
- Conduct toolbox talks and shift safety briefings
- Act as first responder during emergencies
- Ensure in-process checks and sample dispatch to QC
- Take corrective actions for off-spec results as per instructions from QC
- Prevent deviations and ensure batch traceability
Requirements
- B.E Chemical
- 5 to 8 Years of experience in Chemical Industry
- Good Communication skills
- Good team handling skills
- Good knowledge of M.S Office
- Knowledge of SAP would be an additional advantage.
