Senior Inhouse IT Consultant responsible for the network and server infrastructure of the L-mobile Group. Planning security measures and managing cloud and virtualization platforms.
Responsibilities
You design, install and maintain the network and server infrastructure of the L-mobile Group
You plan and implement network segmentation and security measures (firewall, WAF, IPS, MFA)
You operate and expand cloud and virtualization platforms (Microsoft Azure, Wortmann TerraCloud, VMware)
You are responsible for site connectivity, VPN solutions and endpoint protection
You maintain and monitor e-mail systems including security mechanisms (spam filters, SPF, DMARC, DKIM)
You work closely with our management team, Head of Development, CISO and external data protection officer
You develop and optimize concepts, policies and contingency plans for IT security and data protection
You plan budgets and act as the central interface between IT and software development
You document system configurations and support audits and internal security reviews
Requirements
Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist, IT technician), degree or comparable qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in network and server administration, ideally 5 years
Strong knowledge of network technologies (VLAN, routing, VPN) and IT security
Experience with virtualization, storage, backup and cloud infrastructures (Azure, Veeam, VMware)
Practical experience with Sophos firewalls, HP/Aruba switches and common IT security solutions
Good knowledge of Windows Server administration, basic knowledge of Linux
High service orientation, analytical thinking and the ability to work independently
Strong communication skills with native-level German and fluent English (C1) written and spoken
