Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure that supports business decision-making
- Ensure that the Redshift Data Warehouse remains the Single Source of Truth by developing scalable pipelines, robust data models, and efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
- Create and maintain scalable data models using SQL (dbt) and Python
- Develop and optimize Python scripts for ingesting data from third-party APIs
- Use PySpark to transform large-scale datasets
- Work with data orchestration tools (Mage) to schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot production workflows
- Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and follow Git best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience with advanced SQL, including complex queries, window functions, and performance optimization (academic experience will be considered relevant experience)
- 1+ year of experience with Python, including solid understanding of data structures and programming logic, as well as experience consuming APIs and handling JSON or structured data
- Familiarity with PySpark and big data processing, including working with Spark DataFrames and large-scale datasets
- Understanding of data orchestration concepts and experience with tools such as Dagster, Mage, Airflow, or similar
- Basic knowledge of Git workflows, including branching, commits, and pull requests
- 1+ year of experience as an Analytics Engineer (desirable)
- Advanced English proficiency
