About the role

  • Senior PR Specialist managing PR and media relations across multiple markets for KAYAK, a global travel search engine. Role requires strong communications skills, SEO knowledge, and PR experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own PR content creation and distribution across assigned markets, including planning, coordinating and developing structured link‑building and outreach plans in close collaboration with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Build relationships with journalists, bloggers, publishers and strategic partners to secure high‑quality editorial coverage across multiple markets.
  • Work with Brand, SEO and Product teams to develop and manage campaigns, content pieces, events and research projects
  • Apply SEO and GEO understanding to outreach and campaign planning, identifying high‑value content opportunities which improve organic visibility and local relevance.
  • Create locally tailored campaign ideas, revise press releases, translate research and data insights into newsworthy media stories.
  • Pull and analyze data to support outreach, and collaborators design research/surveys that support cross‑market PR efforts
  • Monitor, evaluate and measure media presence and performance, including reporting of results to internal stakeholders.
  • Champion the use of Communication AI tools to streamline outreach, prospecting, content drafting and measurement, and evaluate new AI solutions to scale PR link‑building efforts.
  • Manage activities across multiple markets and time zones and support global PR or international projects as required.

Requirements

  • A degree in Communications, PR, Journalism or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of PR experience (agency or in‑house); experience working with and/or managing external agencies is preferred
  • Demonstrable experience securing editorial placements and high‑quality backlinks; demonstrable experience with PR‑led link‑building campaigns is a plus
  • Experience working with consumer/e‑commerce brands is a plus
  • Good knowledge and hands‑on experience with Communication AI tools (e.g., outreach automation, AI drafting/briefing tools, media monitoring with AI features) and a strong interest in implementing more
  • Working knowledge of SEO and GEO basics (e.g., link value, domain authority, search intent)
  • Excellent project management skills and a track record of delivering campaigns from concept to completion
  • A proactive, organized approach, attention to detail, and ability to work across time zones
  • Exceptional English language skills; Portuguese language skills are a plus.
