Responsibilities

• You develop modern, high-performance applications with GUI, middleware, and backend components in a service-oriented architecture.
• Together with your agile team you implement tailored solutions based on Java, Spring, and React.
• You accompany the entire project lifecycle — from conception and design through implementation and testing.
• Quality matters to you: you ensure our software remains stable and future-proof through code reviews, unit tests, and integration tests.
• You analyze existing applications, identify weaknesses, and implement sustainable fixes.
• You continuously optimize existing systems and bring them up to date — both technologically and functionally.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent qualification acquired through relevant professional experience.
• Several years of experience in software development.
• Practical experience with various software development models, especially in agile environments.
• Competence in solution design and translating complex requirements into technical solutions.
• Confident use of common development tools and testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Java, Spring, or JavaScript (preferably React).
• Practical experience with middleware technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ), REST APIs, and relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience using code-assistance systems and/or coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and modern deployment processes.
• Advantageous (not required): knowledge of Continuous Integration as well as Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of processing XML documents or authentication methods such as OIDC or SAML.
• Interest in innovative technologies and actively following current IT trends.
• Business-fluent German and good English.
