About the role

  • Counselor leading group therapy sessions in addiction recovery community. Collaborating with care teams to support member success and engagement in recovery-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 2–3 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum
  • Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework
  • Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches
  • Monitor member progress and document outcomes
  • Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members
  • Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree
  • Required licensure or certification: Behavioral health licensure including but not limited to: LCSW, LPC, LMHC, MCAP, LMFT, CAP with ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states
  • Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting
  • High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (written and verbal proficiency)
  • Experience working in multilingual or multicultural environments is a plus
