Responsibilities
- Develop a creative vision for JMD projects
- Collaborate on project design charrettes
- Oversee project timelines and meet deadlines
- Serve as the primary point of client contact
- Lead, mentor and delegate to junior design staff
- Follow up with consultants, vendors, and trades
- In-depth knowledge of high end furniture sources and vendors
- Knowledge of fabrics and custom furniture specification
- Strong understanding of scale and proportion
- Ability to develop Sketches and drawings
- Mood boards
- Concept boards
- Presentations
- Finish selections and palettes
- Construction schedules
- Site visits and construction observations
- Creating & maintaining project budgets
- Identify & communicate scope creep.
- Coordinating with accounting for Invoice review.
- Manage furnishings installs
Requirements
- 7+ years of high-end residential design experience including new construction, full remodel and full FF&E package
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design
- Desire to flourish creatively in a lead role

- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Mac OS, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Google Apps
- Working knowledge of Sketchup Pro or similar is a plus, but not mandatory.
