About the role
- R&D Engineer Intern contributing to high-performance polymers research and development at Arkema. Involving studies on polymer films and quality improvement in an international setting.
Responsibilities
- Use the results of a previous internship focused on developing an optical analysis method for PA11 films.
- Contribute to studies on a variety of technical topics related to materials, products, quality and packaging issues.
- Take charge, under supervision, of longer-term, more complex studies identified as part of the continuous improvement of the Rilsan® Powder range.
- Conduct metrology studies (R&R, capability) and write protocols and operator procedures.
- Participate in root-cause investigations as part of problem resolution.
- Support handling of product complaints: define analysis strategy, monitor studies and prepare summary reports.
- Manage the monitoring of industrialization trials for products under development.
Requirements
- You are enrolled in a general engineering or polymer engineering program.
- You have knowledge of polymer materials and characterization techniques.
- You have basic knowledge of data analysis.
- Proficiency in English is a plus.
