About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain cloud-native backend services, primarily in serverless architecture on AWS;
- Develop robust and scalable APIs using Node.js, integrating with both SQL databases and third-party services;
- Implement and manage real-time features using WebSockets;
- Maintain high standards around performance, observability, security, and fault tolerance;
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful product features;
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to strategic technical decisions;
- Apply best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and software delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend development
- Strong hands-on experience with: AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.)
- Node.js in a production environment
- Serverless architecture & frameworks
- SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- WebSockets for real-time features
- Solid understanding of software architecture and distributed systems
- Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with DevOps practices
- A problem-solving mindset and a drive for continuous improvement
- Professional English level, strong verbal and written communication skills.
