About the role

  • Embedded Hardware Engineer developing IoT solutions for Noise Sensors, collaborating with clients throughout the product lifecycle. Involves firmware development and hardware prototyping.

Responsibilities

  • Further development and maintenance of firmware for existing noise sensors
  • Development of new sensor types based on ESP32
  • Creation of hardware concepts, building prototypes and supporting them through to production readiness
  • Support for testing, commissioning and on-site customer projects

Requirements

  • Experience with ESP32 microcontrollers and the Espressif SDK (esp-idf)
  • Proficient in C, FreeRTOS, MQTT and comfortable with Bash or PowerShell
  • Solid technical understanding of electrical engineering and sensor technology (including soldering skills)
  • Proven experience in hardware development
  • Independent, structured working style with strong communication skills in German and English
