About the role
- Security Consultant advising clients on planning and improving information security management systems. Involves auditing, strategy development, and technology assessment.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on the planning, implementation, operation and improvement of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
- Supporting the development and further refinement of information security strategies and concepts
- Analyzing clients' processes and infrastructures as part of audits
- Assessing and evaluating new technologies and technology trends
- Independently managing and delivering projects
Requirements
- University degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in information security
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP or comparable security certifications are a plus
- Good knowledge of information security-related ISO standards and the BSI IT-Grundschutz standards
- Experience with national and European banking and insurance regulations (e.g., MaRisk, BAIT, VAIT, ZAIT)
- Experience in modeling security requirements and implementing them in practice
- Knowledge of Business Continuity Management and IT Service Continuity Management is a plus
- Structured, responsible, and independent working style
- Willingness to travel across Germany
