About the role
- Consultant L2 delivering MEL projects for Itad focusing on Fragile and Conflict Affected Settings. Contributing to business development, project management, and technical inputs across various contexts.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the successful delivery and management of MEL projects across the portfolio through providing technical and project management inputs.
- Contribute to business development activities and bid writing.
- Share learning through knowledge products and external conferences and events.
- Use data and analysis tools to produce evidence-based findings using a logical and structured approach.
- Support clients in reflecting, learning, and managing change.
- Build high performing project teams that deliver quality and commercial targets.
- Develop effective workplans and clearly communicate expectations and timelines to project teams.
Requirements
- Experience in providing technical inputs into evaluation and/or MEL projects in FCAS contexts.
- Experience in at least one of the following: conflict prevention; peacebuilding; security and justice; stabilisation; serious and organised crime; women, peace and security; preventing violent extremism, humanitarian assistance and migration.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in business development and contributing to writing and winning proposals.
- Experience of working in a consultancy environment or equivalent would be desirable, with experience across the full lifecycle from bidding to delivery and understand the commercial drivers behind both for the client and Itad.
- Strong client-facing skills.
