About the role
- QA Automation Engineer developing automated testing frameworks for Intrepid Travel's digital platforms. Enhancing user experience and functionality with a focus on performance testing and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Conduct automated tests and analyse test results.
- Identify and resolve bugs and prevent potential issues to ensure top software quality.
- Write and maintain automated test scripts.
- Evaluate system performance by focusing on performance testing.
- Track and prioritise defects through issue tracking systems.
- Collaborate with talented people to support release readiness decisions by providing clear testing information.
Requirements
- 2+ years direct experience in test automation.
- Proven experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, TestNG).
- Proficient with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6)
- Familiar with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and test management tools (Jira, TestRail).
- Well-versed in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Prior knowledge in mobile application testing and security testing would be advantageous.
