About the role
- Build and deploy AI systems for financial and tax operations in a hybrid role. Collaborate with a diverse team in an innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI agents that automate accounting, payroll, and tax workflows
- Develop LLM-based systems using modern frameworks and prompt engineering with quality control
- Integrate AI capabilities with existing systems and APIs
- Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of AI features
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Software Engineering and AI
- Worked in early-stage startups or scale-ups where you had to wear multiple hats (coding, testing, UI, integrations)
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) — APIs, prompt engineering, structured outputs, agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar)
- Actively use AI coding tools like Cursor, Codex, or Claude in your daily workflow — and you can talk about how and why
- Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud services, and testing/QA for AI systems
- Comfortable with ambiguity and high ownership — you'll manage multiple projects simultaneously and organize your own delivery
