About the role
- AI Developer II responsible for developing microservices and integrating AI models in mission-critical environments. Collaborating with Data Scientists and utilizing best practices in AI engineering.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, and evolution of microservices, APIs, and reusable libraries to run our algorithms in mission-critical production environments
- Help scale AI- and machine learning-based software
- Work closely with Data Scientists to enable research
- Implement new workflows to integrate AI models into applications and solutions
- Integrate DevOps concepts and tools to provide an agile and scalable environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a combination of education and equivalent experience
- 5 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithm design techniques
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy, etc.
- Experience with the software engineering lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Passion for artificial intelligence and the ability to collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and R&D teams
- Comfortable working in complex, fast-changing environments and within multidisciplinary teams
- No Canadian professional experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada
