About the role

Responsibilities
- You design and implement innovative technical concepts for complex system environments, actively participate in their implementation, and carefully document the results — thereby making a significant contribution to the success of our client projects.
- You plan, install and configure IT infrastructures, networks and software solutions, implementing customer requirements precisely both independently and as part of a team.
- You apply your expertise in IT security specifically for system hardening, developing security policies and configuring security-relevant components to ensure robust protection measures.
- You create technical concepts, migration plans and decision templates that provide our clients with clear guidance for their IT decisions.
- By analyzing existing IT infrastructures you identify optimization potentials and develop innovative proposals to improve stability, performance and security.
- You work closely with software development, project management and other departments — and, when required, directly on site with the customer — to jointly implement sustainable solutions.
Requirements
- You have completed vocational training or a degree in an IT field, for example in IT specialist roles, system integration, IT security or a comparable qualification.
- With solid knowledge in the design and administration of virtualization solutions, server environments (Linux, Windows) and networks, you bring the technical know-how to design and operate complex IT infrastructures efficiently.
- You have initial practical experience or a strong interest in system hardening, IT security and security-critical IT infrastructures — you want to actively help make systems more secure.
- Ideally, you have experience with configuration management or automation tools.
- You enjoy working in a team, are independent, solution-oriented and willing to travel for projects when required (under 20%).
- Very good German language skills and good English skills are a matter of course for you and enable smooth communication.
