- Project- and product-related research and development with a focus on information security, network security, cloud architectures and industrial network technologies
- Rapid and independent familiarization with new subject areas and tasks
- Design and creation of suitable prototype applications under laboratory conditions using the latest software and hardware technologies to assess feasibility and practical applicability
- Support and supervision of research projects and studies
- Collaboration and exchange with internal stakeholders and application-oriented users
- Monitoring, identification and evaluation of current research and developments in new and innovative technologies
- Preparation of scientific papers and presentations for internal and external knowledge transfer
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Or completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent
- Experience in professional product development
- Technical understanding of the relationships, concepts and specifics of the technology stack in use
- Excellent analytical thinking skills
- Strong conceptual and design skills
- Quick comprehension / fast learner
- Very good written and spoken English
