Responsibilities
The technical lead will take responsibility with minimum supervision for the hardware conception, design and build of new products and/or systems
Tasks related to electronic circuits design and analysis: electrical diagrams, component selection, PCB Layout, simulations, measurement and trials
Evaluation of different design options, reference designs, and strategies
Guide and foster growth for other developers, ensuring completion of tasks in terms of scope, quality and schedule
Interaction with customer’s technical teams, leading meetings with customer and partners when necessary
Presenting progress and proposing solutions and alternatives to challenges in development projects
Requirements
6-8 Years as hardware electronic designer
Bachelor’s degree in a related electrical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven experience (proficiency) on electronic circuit design
Component selection criteria and knowledge on their critical parameters
Ability to read and compose complex electrical diagrams both digital and analog
Proficiency in PCB layout design from pads definition to 10+ Multilayer design including stackup definition, impedance control, high speed routing (DDR4, USB3.0, PCIe…), differential pairs and high-end microprocessor
Experience in RF and matching network design and layout for ISM, Bluetooth, NFC
Experience with EMI/EMC mitigation
Proven experience with Cadence Allegro Design Entry & PCB Designer as development IDE
Fluent in English, both written and oral
Experience in leading/coordinating small development teams in the electronics development arena is an asset
Experience on electronic circuits analysis and verification and acceptance test procedures
