- Lead Data Engineer guiding a team in designing scalable data solutions for iKnowHow S.A. Overseeing development of data pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Data Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Design, architect, and oversee the development of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
- Oversee the collection, transformation, and analysis of large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights
- Review code, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to technical standards and architectural guidelines
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and introduce modern data engineering tools and methodologies
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering roles
- Former experience in a leadership position
- Strong knowledge of data modeling methodologies and Data Warehousing practices
- Advanced experience with Azure technologies (Databricks, Data Factory etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, Python
- Solid experience in designing and implementing ETL processes
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and scalable system design
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

- Experience working in outsourced or client-facing projects
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
