About the role
- Workplace Engineer managing endpoint configurations and technologies for a client in Lisbon. Involving user support and system innovations with a focus on Microsoft solutions.
Responsibilities
- Centralized management of Windows configurations, policies and profiles;
- Monitoring new technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvements in workplace configurations and functionality;
- Preparing remote software installation tasks across the PC estate;
- Software certification for the PC estate;
- 3rd-line support for complex Windows configuration issues across the PC estate, liaising with vendors/partners when necessary.
Requirements
- Experience with the tasks listed above;
- Knowledge of Windows 11, Edge/Chrome browser configurations, and Office applications;
- Knowledge of Office 365 from a device management/configuration perspective;
- Experience administering OUs/GPOs for users and computers;
- Experience using Microsoft Intune;
- Desirable:
- Knowledge of macOS;
- Familiarity with configuration of Android mobile devices and macOS devices;
- Knowledge of networking;
- Knowledge of security from the perspective of PC, Windows and browser configurations
