About the role
- Senior Penetration Tester conducting security assessments and identifying vulnerabilities at HvS-Consulting GmbH. Engaging in offensive security practices and technical consulting for clients.
Responsibilities
- You independently conduct penetration tests
- You identify vulnerabilities in complex IT environments
- You analyze attack paths across network, system, and application layers
- You test an organization’s security chains
- You provide vendor-neutral advice to our clients on modern security architectures
- You prepare technical findings tailored to the target audience
- You actively contribute to the development of new attack techniques, tools, automations, and infrastructure
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in IT security with a focus on penetration testing and/or red teaming
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, enterprise networks, and/or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Programming experience, ideally in Python, Go, Java, C/C++ or C#
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel approximately 20%
- You work in a structured, solution-oriented, and analytical manner
