About the role

Responsibilities
- Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications
- Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support
- Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington
- May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff
- May serve as project leader for specific projects
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years of development experience using Java, building API enabled apps and event driven architecture
- Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures, knowledge of using databases including Oracle, Snowflake
- 2+ years of production support, infrastructure engineering or administration experience
- Experience with or good working knowledge of DevSecOps; Kubernetes or other container-based technologies including deployment pipelines
- Learning mindset with openness to learn new technologies, build things and experiment
- Certifications like cloud architect/engineer/developer are strongly preferred
- Experience working on product teams, awareness of agile practices
