About the role
- Medicare Field Sales Agent with Humana, building trust and educating clients on Medicare Advantage plans. Engage with community through grassroots marketing, events, and in-home visits.
Responsibilities
- Build trust and educate individuals on Humana’s Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
- Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits—providing a personalized experience that sets Humana apart.
- Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana’s presence in the market by becoming a valued resource in your community.
- Engage with customers in the FIELD through a mix of in-person, virtual, and phone interactions.
Requirements
- Active Health Insurance License required.
- Must reside in Hillsborough or East Pasco County.
- Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members’ homes, at community-based events and engaging with the community through service, organizations, volunteer work or local events.
- Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License preferred.
- Prior experience selling Medicare products preferred.
- Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages preferred.
