About the role
- Software Test Engineer ensuring timely and defect-free delivery of SaaS products at Ideagen. Key responsibilities include test case execution, defect tracking, and collaborative testing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases and scripts to ensure software products meet quality standards and user requirements.
- Identify, track, and report defects from both a testing and customer perspective.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and project managers to ensure thorough testing and successful delivery.
- Participate in project planning and estimation to scope testing activities effectively.
- Develop and maintain test scripts, test data, and automation frameworks in line with SDLC processes.
- Execute and sustain test automation scripts using predefined frameworks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software testing experience.
- Proven ability to deliver and maintain web‑based software in a team environment.
- Experience with automation scripting tools such as Playwright, C#, Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Demonstrable experience using Gherkin and Cucumber for story and success criteria.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools across different types of testing.
- AWS or Cloud qualifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
- Cybersecurity qualifications such as CEH.
- Testing certifications such as ISTQB or similar.
- Experience with SmartBear TestComplete for WinForms applications.
- Experience using Testmo or other integrated test case management tools.
