About the role

  • Lead Sales for Honda Bank GmbH, defining and executing sales strategies in Germany and Spain. Manage multi-country sales teams and drive revenue across finance products in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the sales strategy for Germany and Spain in alignment with Honda Motor Europe and regional objectives
  • Take full ownership of the commercial cycle, including sales planning, forecasting, pricing, negotiations, contract management and campaigns
  • Drive revenue and portfolio growth across retail finance, leasing, wholesale and insurance products
  • Lead Key Account Management and develop long-term strategic partnerships with dealer networks in both markets
  • Work closely with Finance, Pricing, Marketing, Risk, Compliance and Business Solutions to ensure compliant and effective execution
  • Manage sales budgets, performance targets and regular reporting to senior management
  • Continuously optimize sales processes, tools and governance frameworks
  • Lead, develop and inspire high-performing multi-country sales teams and foster collaboration between Germany and Spain

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of experience in senior sales or commercial roles with international or cross-country responsibility
  • Strong experience in regulated or captive business environments (e.g., financial services, automotive, industrial sectors)
  • Proven track record building, leading and growing successful sales teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills at senior levels
  • High intercultural competence and a collaborative leadership style
  • Fluent in English and German; Spanish desirable
