About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain machine learning models with a focus on demand forecasting, supply chain simulation, and price optimization
- Collaborate with the Commercial Leadership Team to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications
- Integrate solutions into production systems, automating decision-making processes end to end
- Define and monitor relevant KPIs to assess performance and improve algorithms based on results
- Provide accurate statistical analyses and explain findings to stakeholders to facilitate decision making
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies, sharing learnings to ensure state-of-the-art forecasting and pricing engines
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience in data science or machine learning engineering
- Academic degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, computer science, or mathematics
- Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms (e.g., time series models, regression analysis, tree-based models)
- High proficiency in SQL and Python
- Strong experience in version control (Git)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and engineering proficiency
- Strong analytical thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate data into clear insights
- Proactive, curious, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
