About the role
- Senior Consultant IT Forensik Incident Response managing IT security incidents and forensic investigations for clients. Collaborating with teams to ensure effective response and recovery processes.
Responsibilities
- Work in a team to manage attacks on our clients' IT infrastructure and contribute to forensic investigations, isolation, emergency operations and recovery
- Provide technical expertise in incident handling — remotely and on-site at client locations
- Investigate forensic questions, help clarify the attack vector through technical analyses, and give our clients a clear overview
- Secure and analyze forensically sound, court‑admissible digital evidence using up‑to‑date tools
- Specialize in areas such as operating system, network and cloud forensics, malware analysis, technical recovery planning, and more
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of IT environments, IT security and attack chains
- Enjoy working with technology and analyzing complex systems and situations
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g. (business) computer science, security, engineering) or equivalent practical experience; certifications in IT forensics or pentesting/auditing are a plus
- Determination to help affected companies through cyber crises and a pragmatic approach to finding solutions
- Very good presentation and communication skills in German
