About the role
- Senior Consultant for IT-Security Management in a growing consulting firm with a focus on incident response and recovery planning. Lead projects and contribute to customer security practices in hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams and conduct IT emergency exercises, supporting various clients in developing IT emergency plans, recovery and restoration plans, and data backup strategies — on-site and remotely.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients on security incidents, response and recovery procedures, and emergency measures in the cloud.
- Participate in real incident response engagements and assist our clients in ensuring operational continuity.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations on cross-functional topics such as information security, 3rd Party Risk Management, and risk management to further develop our consulting services.
Requirements
- Degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional qualification in an IT environment, e.g., administration, IT service, or data center operations
- Experience applying ITSCM standards, e.g., ISO 27031, or related standards such as ISO 27001 or ITIL 4, and several years of professional experience
- Proven experience in project leadership and a passion for knowledge transfer and training
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in German
