About the role
- Managing Consultant in Software Asset Management for a consulting company. Engage with clients to implement software asset management organizations and improve processes.
Responsibilities
- Support our clients from SMEs, DAX-listed corporations and the public sector in establishing a Software Asset Management (SAM) organization and design roles, processes and policies for license management
- Focus on tool-centric SAM consulting: analyze client-specific requirements when building and scaling a tool-based license management solution, advise on selecting the appropriate SAM tool, and optimize tool operation
- Take responsibility for project leadership, technical coaching, quality assurance and client communication
- Develop and refine our SAM consulting methods and procedures based on current trends and your own ideas
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience as a Lead Consultant or leadership experience within an IT organization
- Experience in contract/license management, software procurement, or in the configuration and implementation of SAM tools
- Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking and an above-average solution-oriented mindset
- Very good presentation and communication skills in German
