About the role

  • Cloud Engineer for Incident Response working on AWS cloud infrastructures and security consulting. Collaborating with teams to analyze and respond to IT security incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Build, operate, and develop secure AWS cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Configure and efficiently manage Kubernetes clusters, e.g., EKS
  • Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines, including DevSecOps checks
  • Support the Incident Response team in analyzing and handling IT security incidents
  • Collaborate closely with clients as well as DevOps, security, and development teams

Requirements

  • Several years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure automation, e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Solid expertise in Kubernetes operations and security
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Analytical ability to structure complexity and clarify relationships, and the capability to design concepts and explain them
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in German
