Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of standard and non-standard contracts, including administration, negotiation, modifications, extensions, and closeout
Support proposal development by preparing contract volumes, contributing to pricing strategies, and ensuring accuracy and compliance
Lead contract negotiations with customers and partners in alignment with company policies, FAR/DFARS requirements, and customer specifications
Review estimates, pricing data, material and service requirements, and performance criteria for completeness and compliance
Prepare bids and maintain contract-specific documentation, reports, and historical records
Serve as a primary liaison with internal teams and external customers, advising leadership on contractual rights, obligations, risks, and opportunities
Analyze contract data, performance metrics, and financial impacts to support decision-making
Develop and maintain contract-specific estimating tools and templates
Share knowledge and best practices through training, mentoring, and consistent guidance to teammates
Requirements
10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
Proven ability to mentor and develop colleagues in contracting principles and practices
Demonstrated experience managing IDIQ contracts
Advanced knowledge of Excel, as this position creates contract-specific estimating templates
Experience with NSWCPD or NIWC contracts
Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS
Ability to create, maintain, and improve pricing or estimating tools
Experience supporting cross-functional proposal or contracting teams
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
