About the role
- Front-End Developer responsible for creating intuitive applications at Enlighten. Joining a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications.
- JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review.
- Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences.
- Help define and interact with REST based API’s.
- Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and providing support.
- Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A current Secret level U.S. Government security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship required.
- At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Front End Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Vue, React, Angular), and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Experience with the agile software lifecycle.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven).
- Comfortable working on a linux command line.
- Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting.
- Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed.
- DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification will be required in this position within 60 days of employment.
