Behavioral Health Medical Director responsible for oversight and clinical education in behavioral health services for CareBridge. Working part - time to develop programs and conduct clinical consultations.
About the role
- Clinical Director at Hickory Recovery managing treatment plans for mental health clients. Leading clinical engagement with a focus on healing and wellbeing throughout the treatment continuum.
Responsibilities
- Monitors the progress of the treatment plan and delegates the plan for clinical engagement by the team
- Maintains adherence to HIPAA compliance in ALL communication regarding clients
- Conducts interviews and recommends prospective staff, completes corrective action summaries, recommends disciplinary action
- Documents sessions with all clients, processes discharge as needed
- Conducts competency reviews and training, and routine performance improvement evaluations
- Provides monthly in-service staff trainings including treatment team and joint commission requirement meetings
- Completes and assigns all on-call rotations, and holiday/PTO assignment schedules for full clinical team
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in a Behavioral Health discipline
- Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience
- An active, unrestricted, clinical license is required
- The ability to prioritize and multi-task, with exceptional time management skills
- Ability to competently encourage and inspire direct reports in the delivery of stellar clinical services through professionalism
- Demonstration of a client-centered team approach with advanced computer skills
- Scheduling flexibility REQUIRED to accommodate varied client admissions
- Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation
