Responsibilities
Develop and implement data products (AI, predictive models, segmentation strategies, and decision-making tools) to assess and mitigate risks.
Work with business teams to find opportunities and develop valuable solutions that solve the right problems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to embed data products within Operations’ processes.
Monitor model performance and conduct ongoing evaluation and iteration to improve predictive accuracy and business impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to champion opportunities for data and AI to scale our impact.
Partner with the Data Platform team to ensure data capture, cleanliness, system development and monitoring meet the needs of our risk mitigation efforts.
Contribute to our MLOps strategy and support the implementation of data governance initiatives.
Requirements
4+ years of industry experience in a data science or similar role.
Demonstrated experience using statistical methods or machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
Experience collaborating on the deployment of data products into production.
Proficiency in the programming languages of our analytics stack (SQL and Python) or other related languages.
Experience in consumer or business credit, fraud modeling, or go-to-market analytics will be a significant asset.
Experience with the following technologies: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and their BigQuery Data Warehouse, Metabase or other business intelligence applications, Data transformation technologies such as dbt, Apache Spark or similar distributed computing platforms.
