About the role
- Entry-level engineer assisting in design and process teams for water and wastewater projects. Work includes preparation of engineering deliverables and coordination with senior engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including sampling studies, condition assessments, process modeling, hydraulics, and design reports
- Work directly with senior level engineering team providing mentoring opportunities to learn and develop
- Manage data for process modeling and design
- Attend client and internal project management meetings
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment
- Support multiple projects from planning through construction
- Participate in fieldwork and site visits (mostly in-state)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering
- Strong interest in the water/wastewater industry
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 0-2 years of relevant experience within the water/wastewater industry
- EIT certification preferred
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering preferred
- Conducts self-quality reviews before submitting work for additional QA/QC
