About the role

  • Assistant Property Manager overseeing day-to-day operations and tenant relations while driving between rental properties. Supporting Haven Property Management in the Puget Sound region with various tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of residential properties, including tenant communication and leasing
  • Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs
  • Support corporate office for administrative needs
  • Schedule and drive between rental properties as needed
  • Orient new tenants to the property's rules, regulations, and amenities during move-in
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns
  • Review applications and assist potential tenants with rental applications accurately
  • Perform move-out inspections and ensure houses are rent-ready
  • Post notices as necessary, including mailings

Requirements

  • Property management experience, including tenant relations, rental inspections, lease administration, and coordinating maintenance
  • Communication skills, problem-solving, and ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in technology tools and software used for property management
  • Understanding of local property management laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Prior experience in the real estate or property management industry is a plus
