About the role
- GO Developer in Schwarz Group developing and supporting applications in a cross-functional team. Engaging in planning, implementation, and optimization of applications and their architectures.
Responsibilities
- Development and support of individual applications
- Planning, analysis, detailed design, testing, and implementing components
- Adherence to lifecycle methodology and practices as per project plans
- Maintenance of program libraries and technical documentation
- Making modern technology choices for creating new applications and APIs
- Further development and optimization of existing applications and architectures
- Support of internal business partners with technical consulting
Requirements
- 3+ years of core development experience
- Experience in object-oriented modeling and software design
- Passion for new technologies such as software development, Kubernetes, and cloud backends
- Extensive knowledge of programming using Go; any other programming language is a plus
- High standards on code quality, performance, maintainability, and extensibility
- Service Oriented Architecture / Web Services - SOAP / REST
- Hands-on experience with developing REST APIs
- Knowledge in handling cloud technologies (e.g. Dockers, Kubernetes)
- Open-minded, fast learner
- Nice to have: Experience with Microservices/DevOps/VueJS
