About the role

• Civil Engineer overseeing store layout design and maintenance support for DPaschoal. Collaborating technically to improve operational efficiency and support unit adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Develop layout designs for stores and support areas as required, aimed at improving the arrangement of workstations and creating new spaces, thematic or otherwise, for internal and/or external events and for accommodating work teams.
• Provide technical support to units regarding building maintenance, clarifying technical questions, advising on cost-effective product options, and supporting the engagement of quality service providers.
• Prepare layout plans and descriptive specifications for renovations, whether for openings, closures or revitalizations of units. Based on the defined scope, prepare estimates for services and materials, hire contractors and ensure execution of the work through to delivery, including schedule, quality and technical compliance.
• Provide technical support for the maintenance of external visual communication such as façades and totems/signage, and assist with internal visual communication demands that require building adjustments. Lead renovations or replacements of external visual communication when necessary.
• Monitor the performance of the area's expense accounts and released investments, including expense reclassification and action plans to reduce or appropriately use funds.
• Assist support departments in preparing projects related to the units.
• Perform administrative processes, such as invoice entry, validation of departmental expenses, supplier registration, monitoring contractor documentation and managing construction contracts.
• Support the Legalization/Regulatory area by providing information and documents related to façades and unit layout projects and/or building adaptations required for unit legalization/compliance.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the Central building by overseeing the maintenance team in responding to service requests and other property conservation tasks.
• Map and qualify new service providers and materials.
• Request investments for building maintenance and façade work when necessary.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the units to advise them on maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Willingness to travel.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus.
• Experience overseeing building maintenance and contractors during renovations.
• Preferably experience in maintenance within non-construction companies, especially retail (advantage).
