About the role

  • Senior QA Automation Engineer at Growth Acceleration Partners designing automated tests for product enhancements. Collaborating in Agile teams and mentoring junior engineers with a focus on quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated tests for new and existing product features
  • Work independently on critical tasks and take on leadership responsibilities as needed
  • Participate in the full SDLC, including technical analysis, design, implementation, and testing
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, best practices, and knowledge sharing
  • Drive innovations to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability
  • Provide accurate estimation for testing activities
  • Ensure high-quality design and implementation with a focus on performance, scalability, and security
  • Create and maintain test specifications for API, E2E, Performance, and Security testing
  • Produce clear, accurate documentation
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and partners
  • Expand automation coverage across functional, compatibility, performance, and API layers
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve code testability and system design
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics
  • Support manual testing when necessary
  • Prepare complex datasets to validate logic, error handling, and workflows
  • Conduct code reviews for automation contributions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Quality Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering with full SDLC exposure
  • Proven experience testing AWS serverless architectures at enterprise scale
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices
  • Technical skills: Languages: Node.js, TypeScript, SQL; Front-end: React; Databases: Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB; DevOps / CI/CD: GitHub Actions, NPM, Docker; Testing tools: Playwright, K6
  • Experience with Agile methodologies SAFe or similar
  • Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
  • Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, reliable automated tests
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)
