About the role
- Web QA Engineer creating a high-quality web platform for Green Street as part of an Agile team. Collaborating with technology and business teams in a fast-paced FinTech environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders and technology team to ensure Green Street web technology teams ship high-quality production code
- Work with the product and business teams during initiative planning to build out and maintain high-quality test plans with comprehensive test scenarios
- Perform story-level, exploratory, regression, performance, and security testing as required to support platform releases
- Ensure alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders
- Manage test automation execution and assist with resolving, communicating or escalating any issues that may result in test plan variance
- Contribute to efforts towards increasing test automation coverage
- Advocate for and drive improvements to the current QA process to drive towards more efficiency where possible
Requirements
- 3-5 years as a QA engineer supporting the delivery of high quality B2B SaaS web platforms
- Strong functional testing skills
- Strong data skills – must be able to understand how to test data-intensive applications
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium
- Experience with performance testing tools like Apache JMeter, NeoLoad, Gatling
- Experience using project management / ticketing systems like JIRA
- 2+ years’ experience on RDBMS – MySQL, Oracle, etc – specifically writing and executing SQL queries.
- Detailed oriented, quality conscious, with an eye toward simplicity.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Nice-to-Haves: Scripting experience – shell scripting/Python scripting
- Experience with security testing tools like Veracode
