About the role
- DWH / BI Consultant focusing on ETL processes for GPI Consulting GmbH in Hamburg, Germany. Involves ETL development, data modeling, and close collaboration with stakeholders in a hybrid setup.
Responsibilities
- Konzeption, Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung bestehender ETL-Strecken
- Modellierung und Optimierung von Data Marts
- Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung von OLAP-Strukturen (SSAS-Cubes)
- Entwicklung und Anpassung von Reports und Dashboards
- Enge Abstimmung mit Anforderungsmanagement und Fachbereichen
- Übersetzung fachlicher Anforderungen in wirtschaftliche Lösungen
- Prüfung technische Realisierbarkeit von Anforderungen und Entscheidungsvorbereitung für Stakeholder
Requirements
- Ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Aufgabengebiet
- Erfahrung im DWH-, BI- oder ETL-Umfeld
- Fundiertes Know-how in: Datenbanken (idealerweise Microsoft SQL Server)
- ETL-Entwicklung (idealerweise mit SSIS)
- Datenbank- und Data-Mart-Modellierung
- Reporterstellung
- Erfahrung mit gewachsenen Systemlandschaften
- Wunsch nach langfristigen Projekteinsätzen
- Fähigkeit, Anforderungen strukturiert, aber pragmatisch umzusetzen
- Verständnis für Wirtschaftlichkeit und Priorisierung
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens C1)
