About the role
- Production Engineer in open pit mining at St Ives Gold Mine. Responsible for drill and blast designs aligning with production plans and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2-weekly production plans that align the mine to its mid and long-term plan
- Contribute to continuous improvement through analysis of blast performance and optimisation of dilution and recovery

Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, or a related discipline plus
- Manual driver’s licence
- A WA Quarry Manager’s Certificate of Competency highly regarded
- Previous experience within open pit engineering experience, with drill and blast design
- Demonstrated exposure to drill and blast design software is essential, preferably Deswik.
