About the role
- Accountant Costs managing all financial matters at Gruyere Gold Mine. Role includes budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in a mining environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all financial matters in relation to Gruyere Gold Mine
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of operating and capital budgets and forecasts
- Continuous improvement of analytical reporting models and forecasting tools
- Support and train cost control and commercial matters to key stakeholders
- Complete month-end procedures and liaise between key stakeholders on and off-site
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting
- SAP experience is a must
- A CPA or CA Qualification would be highly regarded
- Strong experience in a financial role within a mining environment
- Previous supervisory experience would be highly desirable
- Experience in budgeting and financial modelling
- Demonstrate knowledge of ERP systems – SAP is essential
- Xeras budgeting experience would be advantageous
