About the role

  • Information Security Analyst developing and optimizing DLP controls within a regulated environment at a Lloyds syndicate. Collaborating with IT and compliance teams on data protection initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls across email, endpoint, cloud, and data platforms
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to DLP alerts and potential data leakage incidents
  • Participate in peer review activities, including control assessments, security design reviews, and change approvals
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of information security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Work closely with IT, compliance, and risk teams to ensure alignment with Lloyd’s and regulatory requirements
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory requests relating to data protection and information security
  • Provide guidance and best practice recommendations to stakeholders on secure data handling

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in an Information Security, Cyber Security, or Technology Risk role
  • Proven hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and controls
  • Experience participating in peer reviews, security assessments, or control validation activities
  • Strong understanding of data protection principles and information security frameworks
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (insurance, financial services, or Lloyd’s Market preferred)

Benefits

  • Salary: £80k-110k
  • Length: 6 months contract, with possibility of extension
